Additionally, Partizan's general manager, Zoran Savic, was fined €1500 for insulting referees. Savic was removed during the game from the first row for the offense.
The all-deciding Game 3 of the ABA League semifinals between Partizan and Buducnost VOLI Podgorica featured multiple incidents. In addition to Partizan's financial punishment, Buducnost's guard Yogi Farrell was handed a €1001 fine, while the club was fined €1000 as well.
After losing Game 3, Ferrell accused ABA League referees of cheating in favor of the two eternal rivals. "There is no integrity with this league," the player said last week.
Partizan beat Buducnost 100-86 in Game 3 on Friday, May 10th. Game 1 of the Finals starts at 20:30 CET on Monday, May 13th.
