"The Suns have no big man... KD [Kevin Durant] is the Suns' big man. They got no big man," Green said, pointedly omitting Nurkic from the conversation, as reported by Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.
This isn't the first time Nurkic and Green have found themselves in a verbal sparring match, both on and off the court. Their conflict reached a boiling point when Green swung at Nurkic during a game on December 12, resulting in a 12-game suspension for Green.
The tension between Green and Nurkic extended onto social media, becoming a platform for their ongoing spats.
They traded insults and mockery multiple times, with Green continuing the banter on his podcast. In these exchanges, Green didn't hold back, labeling Nurkic with derogatory terms like "coward," "big softie," and other words. Nurkic, on the other hand, grabbed attention with his post-game comment, famously referring to Green as "that brother needs help."
