Angel Reese, Cameron Brink shine in WNBA debuts

The two rookies from arguablythe most anticipated WNBA rookie class of all time successfullymade their WNBA debuts despite their teams losing in their firstgame.
Angel Reese and the Chicago Skyfell short against the Dallas Wings, 87-79, after leading in thefirst quarter by 12. The 7th overall pick finished with 12 pointsand 8 rebounds on 5-14 shooting in 27 minutes of gametime.
Reese’s fellow rookie and 3rdoverall selection Kamila Cardoso missed the game due toinjury.
Cameron Brink and the LA Sparksalso fought through the end but it was not enough, losing to theAtlanta Dream 92-81. The 2nd overall selection had 11 points on 4-6shooting with 2 rebounds and 4 assists in 19 minutes of playingtime.
Reese and Brink, along with no.1 overall pick Caitlin Clark,look to take the WNBA by storm in their rookie years as the leagueanticipates a massive growth following the influx of young, good,and popular basketball talents.
