Jalen Williams, Paolo Banchero named NBA's Rookies of the Month

Oklahoma City Thunder guard-forward Jalen Williams and OrlandoMagic forward Paolo Banchero have been named the NBA's Western andEastern Conference Rookies of the Month, respectively, for gamesplayed in March and April.

Williams averaged 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists overthat span, while helping the Thunder make the Play-InTournament.

Banchero averaged 20.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists overthat span, while strengthening his case for the Rookie of the Yearaward.

Other nominees for this award were Jaden Hardy (DAL), KeeganMurray (SAC), Shaedon Sharpe (POR), Jabari Smith Jr (HOU), JadenIvey (DET), Bennedict Mathurin (IND) and Andrew Nembhard (IND).
