In preparation for the upcoming season, AX Armani Exchange Milan added two new players, small forward Davide Alviti and shooting guard Devon Hall.
Italian Davide Alviti (2.00 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Allianz Pallancestro Trieste. In 31 Italian League games last season he averaged 10.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals. Before playing in Trieste, the versatile forward spent four seasons in the second Italian league. He debuted in the first league during the 2019-20 season with De'Longhi Treviso, after helping his team win the second league championship and earn a promotion to higher division. He also made his debut in the Italian national team last year.
American Devon Hall (1.96 meters, 25 years old) inked a two-year deal with Milan. After playing 4 seasons and graduating from the University of Virginia, Hall was picked 53rd overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Hall played for the Thunder in the 2018 NBA Summer League. Shortly after, the guard signed with the Cairns Taipans for the 2018–19 NBL season, where he averaged 9.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 28 games (29 MPG). After the season, Hall returned to the Oklahoma City, playing the next two seasons between the Thunder and its G League affiliate team, Oklahoma City Blue.
During the 2019-20 season, Hall played 30 games in the G League, where he averaged 15.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists. During that same season he appeared in 10 NBA games with the Thunder averaging 2 points and 1.3 assists. Hall registered career-high 12 points, 4 assists and 3 steals in an overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on August 14, 2020.
After failing to make his mark in the NBA, Hall transferred to Europe and spent last season playing for Brose Bamberg. In Champions League, Hall averaged 12.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists after appearing in nine games (23 MPG). Meanwhile, in the German league Hall played 33 games (27 MPG) and averaged 14.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
