Anadolu Efes Istanbul

Position Player Status PG Vasilije Micic (story) Signed until 2022 +1+1 PG Shane Larkin Signed until 2022 PG Dogus Balbay Signed until 2023 SG Rodrigue Beaubois Signed until 2023 SG James Anderson Signeduntil 2022 SF Krunoslav Simon Contract option +1 SF Tolga Gecim Signed until 2022 SF Bugrahan Tuncer Contract option +1 PF Chris Singleton Signeduntil 2022 +1 PF Adrien Moermann Signeduntil 2022 PF Yigitsan Saybir (story) Signeduntil 2022 C Filip Petrusev (story) Signed until 2022 C Bryant Dunston Signeduntil 2022 +1 C Tibor Pleiss Signeduntil 2022 +1 Coach Ergin Ataman Expired contract Sertac Sanli (will not return) Rumored to leave Shane Larkin (has NBA out) Interested

After hitting the season target and winning the EuroLeague championship for the first time in the club’s history, Anadolu Efes is not rushing their off-season moves. As a first step, EuroLeague coach of the year Ergin Ataman’s status was solidified with a two-year extension.

It is reported that Vasilije Micic will return to Anadolu Efes on a 1+1+1 contract, with an option to leave for the NBA after each season with Efes. Shane Larkin is now a free agent and rumored to be heading to NBA. However, as of this moment, no concrete deals have been announced. Larkin can opt-out of his existing contract (2022) for the jump to NBA, but his future is not clear yet. Efes have also re-signed Frenchman Rodrigue Beaubois for another year.

Nevertheless, renewals with James Anderson and Adrien Moerman showed the club's intention to keep the winning core intact. Chris Singleton, Rodrigue Beaubois, Bryant Dunston, Tibor Pleiss, Dzanan Musa, and captain Dogus Balbay all have existing contracts. It is yet to be announced whether options on Bugrahan Tuncer, Krunoslav Simon, and Erten Gazi’s contracts would be exercised.

The Turkish spine is also kept with Tolga Gecim, and Yigitcan Saybir as the club announced contract renewals for another year. Sertac Sanli appears as a rare departure, who joined Barcelona on a reported two-year deal. Sanli's spot as a stretch four and/or center is yet to be filled, and currently, not many names were indicated. His overall improvement flourished with crucial mid-range and 3-point shooting contributions as well as floor spacing in the offensive schemes was immensely important on the way to the EuroLeague title.

There were some rumors regarding the addition of Milos Teodosic, who is currently under contract with Virtus Bologna, with a buy-out clause. This hypothetical move was thought to be a contingency plan in case Micic left for NBA but nevertheless, Ergin Ataman reportedly rejected such interest.

FC Barcelona

Position Player Status PG Nick Calathes Signed until 2023 PG Leandro Bolmaro Signeduntil 2023 PG Rokas Jokubaitis (story) Signed until 2023 +2 PG/SG Nicolas Laprovittola (story) Signed until 2023 SG Cory Higgins (story) Signed until 2024 SG Kyle Kuric Signeduntil 2023 SF Alex Abrines (story) Signed until 2026 SF/PF Nigel Hayes (story) Signed until 2022 PF Nikola Mirotic Signeduntil 2025 PF Rolands Smits Signeduntil 2022 PF Sergi Martinez (story) Signeduntil 2024 C Sertac Sanli (story) Signed until 2023 C Brandon Davies Signeduntil 2022 C Pierre Oriola Signeduntil 2024 Coach Sarunas Jasikevicius Expired contract Pau Gasol, Artem Pustovyi (story) Rumored to leave Leandro Bolmaro (NBA), Victor Claver (not coming back), Leo Westermann (not coming back), Adam Hanga (not coming back) Interested

After being crowned twice this season (League + Cup), Barca is expected to have little changes on its roster. Pustovyi, Hanga, Claver, and Westermann left. The Catalan team also inked center Sertac Sanli to a two-year deal.

Bolmaro is set to move to the NBA and there is no decision about Pau Gasol's future.

Sanli will replace Pustovyi and Jokubaitis, whose transfer will be made official in the upcoming days, will have a similar role as Bolmaro. Apparently, both switches are good.

The main focus this summer for FC Barcelona is another point guard and a forward. Not big names, but good players to complement a star-loaded roster (Higgins, Mirotic, Davies, Calathes).

AX Armani Exchange Milan

Position Player Status PG Sergio Rodriguez Signed until 2022 PG Malcolm Delaney Signed until 2022 SG Jerian Grant (story) Signed until 2023 SG Devon Hall Signeduntil 2023 SG Davide Moretti Signeduntil 2025 SG Troy Daniels (story) Signed until 2022 SF Shavon Shields (story) Signed until 2023 SF Riccardo Moraschini Signeduntil 2022 SF Davide Alviti Signed until 2024 PF Giampaolo Ricci (story) Signed until 2023 PF Luigi Datome Signeduntil 2023 PF Dinos Mitoglou Signeduntil 2024 PF Nicolo Melli(story) Signed until 2024 C Kaleb Tarczewski Signeduntil 2023 C Kyle Hines Signeduntil 2022 C Paul Biligha Signeduntil 2022 Coach Ettore Messina Expired contract Kevin Punter (story), Michael Roll, Vladimir Micov, Jeff Brooks, Andrea Cinciarini (not coming back), Jeremy Evans Rumored to leave Zach LeDay (not coming back), Pau Bligha, Davide Moretti Interested

AX Armani Exchange Milan has already made official the signings of guard Devon Hall and wings Davide Alviti and Dinos Mitoglou. Hall agreed on a two-year deal, while Alviti and Mitoglou penned three-year contracts.

The dream signing remains an Italian forward Nicolo Melli, who's going to be an unrestricted free agent this summer after the end of his contract with the Dallas Mavericks. The team has also signed ex-NBA player Jerian Grant, who spent last season playing in Greece.

Despite a 1+1 deal still in place, big man Kaleb Tarczewski is expected to leave the team. Also, the positions of Italian players Andrea Cinciarini, captain of the team, and Riccardo Moraschini look unsafe for now, with Milan actively exploring the Italian market. Point guard Davide Moretti, who has seen very limited playing time in his first season in Milan, is expected to leave the team on loan to find more playing time elsewhere.

The American guard Kevin Punter, who was one of the best players on the team, left for Partizan NIS Belgrade, after reportedly signing the largest contract in the history of Serbian basketball.

Veteran players like Sergio Rodriguez and Kyle Hines are expected to remain an integral part of the roster for the next season too. However, Milan will reportedly part ways with big man Zach LeDay.

CSKA Moscow

Position Player Status PG Daniel Hackett Signed until 2022 PG Iffe Lundberg Signed until 2023 +1 PG Ivan Ukhov Signeduntil 2023 +1 PG Alexander Khomenko Signeduntil 2022 +1 PG/SG Alexey Shved (story) Signed until 2022 +1 SG Marius Grigonis Signeduntil 2024 SF Will Clyburn Signeduntil 2022 SF Nikita Kurbanov Signeduntil 2022 +1 SF Andrei Lopatin Signeduntil 2022 PF Tornike Shengelia Signeduntil 2023 PF Johannes Voigtmann Signeduntil 2023 PF Semen Antonov Signeduntil 2024 PF/C Vladimir Ivlev (story) Signed until 2022 PF/C Kenneth Faried(story) Signed until December 2021 C Nikita Milutinov Signeduntil 2023 C Joel Bolomboy Signeduntil 2022 Coach Dimitris Itoudis Expired contract Darrun Hilliard, Michael Eric, Janis Strelnieks, Mike James (story) Rumored to leave Interested

CSKA Moscow decided to extend Johannes Voigtmann (two-year deal), captain Nikita Kurbanov (1+1 deal), and Russian guard Ivan Ukhov (2+1 deal), while Darrun Hilliard, Michael Eric, and Janis Strelnieks all left the club.

Despite some initial uncertainty, coach Dimitris Itoudis has also signed a two-year extension.

The first real acquisition of the summer for the Russian powerhouse was Lithuanian guard Marius Grigonis, who signed a three-year deal. Hackett, Clyburn, Milutinov, and Shengelia will continue to represent the colors of CSKA Moscow. The Russian powerhouse also added big man Vladimir Ivlev to a one-year contract.

Iffe Lundberg, who joined the team in the middle of the season to replace Mike James, and who initially rejected the contract extension offer made by CSKA in order to explore the NBA market, is now reportedly ready to recommit to the Russian powerhouse.

Kevin Pangos is reportedly among the key targets for CSKA this summer and there's a strong belief that the two sides will reach an agreement. Kevin Punter, another important free agent on the EuroLeague market, was expected to receive interest from CSKA but chose to sign withPartizan NIS Belgrade instead.

FC Bayern Munich

The biggest Cinderella story of 2020-21, FC Bayern Munich, is set to start building their team almost from scratch.

Jaylen Reynolds already signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Wade Baldwin is also on his way out of Munich, so Germans will need to find new go-to guys.

The German powerhouse re-signed forward Paul Zipser to a new three-year deal.

Most importantly, Bayern managed to keep its architect Andrea Trinchieri for two more years. There is no doubt 51-year-old head coach will build another competitive team, which will push the EuroLeague powerhouses to the edge.It is going to be difficult summer for Bayern, but this organization is in good hands.

Once again, it will be an interesting destination to look for new EuroLeague stars.

Real Madrid

Position Player Status PG Carlos Alocen Signed until 2024 PG Nigel Williams-Goss (story) Signed until 2023 PG/SG Thomas Heurtel (story) Signed until 2022 SG Sergio Llull Signed until 2022 SG Fabien Causeur Signed until 2022 SG Alberto Abalde Signeduntil 2025 SF Adam Hanga (story) Signed until 2023 SF Rudy Fernandez Signeduntil 2022 SF Jeffery Taylor Signeduntil 2022 PF Anthony Randolph Signeduntil 2023 PF Guerschon Yabusele (story) Signed until 2022 PF Trey Thompkins Signeduntil 2022 C Walter Tavares Signeduntil 2024 C Vincent Poirier Signeduntil 2024 Coach Pablo Laso Expired contract Felipe Reyes (retirement), Jaycee Carroll, Alex Tyus, Nicolas Laprovittola (will not return) Rumored to leave Usman Garuba (NBA), Carlos Alocen Interested

Real Madrid finished this season without winning either of the three big titles for the first time since 2011. Surprisingly, it was arguably one of the best seasons since Laso took over the bench of "Blancos".

Despite all the injuries and losing Campazzo and Deck, Madrid reached both the Spanish League & Cup finals and was extremely close to eliminating Anadolu Efes out of the Final Four. It would have been a miracle.

Laso has renewed his contract until 2023. Like Itoudis in Moscow, it's weird to imagine Madrid without their prestigious coach.

Real made their first moves to strengthen their perimeter play by signing Thomas Huertel to a one-year contract and Nigel Williams-Goss to a two-year deal.

After those movements, Madrid will try to add another forward. Adam Hanga is reported to have agreed to a two-year deal with Madrid. Abalde may have more responsibility next season.

Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul

Position Player Status PG Pierria Henry (story) Signed until 2022 +1 PG Ismet Akpinar Signed until 2022 +1 SG Sehmus Hazer (story) Signed until 2024 SG Nando De Colo Signeduntil 2022 SG Melih Mahmutoglou Signeduntil 2022 SF Marko Guduric Signeduntil 2023 SF Dyshawn Pierre Signeduntil 2023 +1 SF Marial Shayok Signeduntil 2022 +1 SF Tarik Biberovic Signeduntil 2022 SF/PF Metecan Birsen (story) Signed until 2023 + 1 PF Danilo Barthel Signeduntil 2022 PF Achille Polonara (story) Signed until 2023 +1 C Jan Vesely Signeduntil 2022 C Devin Booker Signeduntil 2023 C Ahmet Duverioglu Signeduntil 2022 Coach Aleksandar Djordjevic (story) Expired contract Jarell Eddie (not coming back), Lorenzo Brown (not coming back), Kyle O'Quinn (not coming back), Edgaras Ulanovas (not coming back), Alex Perez (not coming back), Johnny Hamilton (not coming back), Kenan Sipahi (not coming back), Berkay Candan (not coming back), Ali Muhammed (not coming back) Rumored to leave Igor Kokoskov (not coming back) Interested

After a roller-coaster season in the first year of the post-Obradovic era, Fenerbahce Beko rapidly initiated their off-season moves. One of the first positions to reshuffle was the guard rotation where Fenerbahce released Kenan Sipahi, Lorenzo Brown, and their mid-season addition, Alex Perez. Alongside limited scoring contributions from the trio, the backcourt rotation also struggled to keep perimeter defense intact, so this looks like an understandable decision by the technical and administrative management.

On the other hand, the club managed to keep Nando de Colo for another year. His offensive and leadership qualities are indispensable, and the club decided to support his presence with some additional signings. Marial Shayok, who played for Frutti Extra Bursaspor for the second part of the season, quickly became their main offensive force. (18.9 pts, 4.2 assists, 6.9 rebs). Regarding perimeter defense, Ismet Akpinar is a well-known contributor, and besides, he could improve 3-point FG efficiency (hit 41% 3-pointers at Bahcesehir Koleji last season).

Perhaps the most recent addition, Pierria Henry, is the most remarkable signing of the off-season so far. Henry’s pace and agility, alongside his much-improved decision-making skills that were well-exhibit at Baskonia last season, brought an aggressive and more balanced backcourt rotation. Fenerbahce Beko’s rebounding problems kept hurting them for the last 2-3 seasons, and they decided to bolster their frontcourt with Devin Booker, who spent the previous two seasons at Khimki Moscow Region. That move looks like a more defense and rebounding-oriented acquisition. Still, it remains unknown whether his overall contributions would exceed Kyle O’Quinn, another midseason addition that reached well beyond expectations towards the end of the season, both in the EuroLeague and domestic league (BSL).

Johnny Hamilton did not manage to become a central part of coach Igor Kokoshkov’s team, and unsurprisingly, was released after his loan period, alongside Berkay Candan. It was surprising, though, that Edgaras Ulanovas failed to prove his worth at 3-4 positions, given his high work rate, defensive concentration, and occasionally being a post-up threat at Zalgiris. Despite Fenerbahce Beko’s inability to keep its defensive intensity at a high level, Ulanovas could not find a role.

The club also agreed with Dyshawn Pierre on a contract extension, whose contributions remained surprisingly high for both sides of the court through the season. Currently, Fenerbahce Beko appears to be going after Achille Polonara from Baskonia. The 3-4 forward rotation will become much more adaptable to in-game reactionary situations if the transaction occurs. Besides, Polonara could provide more offensive variety and outside shooting threats than Danilo Barthel or Jan Vesely. He could also be crucial to become a remedy for the rebounding problem. Currently, Jarell Eddie’s future with the club remains unclear, and in the following weeks, the club is expected to announce a few more additions.

Zenit St Petersburg

Position Player Status PG Shabazz Napier (story) Signed until 2022 PG Denis Zakharov Signed until 2022 PG Conner Frankamp (story) Signeduntil 2023 PG Andrey Toptunov (story) Signed until 2024 SG Jordan Loyd Signeduntil 2023 SG Dmitry Kulagin Signed until 2022 SG Billy Baron (story) Signed until 2023 SG Sergey Karasev Signeduntil 2022 SF Mateusz Ponitka Signeduntil 2024 SF Igor Volkhin Signeduntil 2022 SF/PF Mindaugas Kuzminskas (story) Signed until 2022 PF Andrey Zubkov Signeduntil 2022 PF Maksim Karvanen Signeduntil 2022 PF/C Jordan Mickey (story) Signed until 2022 PF/C Anton Pushkov(story) Signed until 2023 C Arturas Gudaitis Signeduntil 2024 C Alex Poythress Signeduntil 2022 Coach Xavi Pascual Expired contract Kevin Pangos (not coming back), Austin Hollins (not coming back), KC Rivers (not coming back), Will Thomas, Vitaly Fridzon, Vladislav Trushkin (not coming back) Rumored to leave Dmitry Khvostov (not coming back) Interested

Kevin Pangos put the EuroLeague powerhouses on hold. One of the best point guards of the tournament is seeking his NBA dream, leaving Zenit St Petersburg in a difficult position. The point guard market in Europe is far from robust, so it will be challenging to find a quality replacement for Pangos. It is clear that Zenit will have to take risks.

Zenit is another trustworthy EuroLeague organization with great coach Xavi Pascual and smart sports director Manos Papadopoulos on board. They will find the best solutions for any upcoming challenges.

At the same time, Zenit already saved some important players from the previous season, such as captain Mateusz Ponitka, Arturas Gudaitis, and Alex Poythress. They signed two well-known Russian names Dmitry Kulagin and Sergey Karasev. Also, VTB runners-up added Jordan Loyd and Conner Frankamp to their backcourt.

Jordan Mickey inked a one-year deal with the team and will Will Thomas. However, the most important moves for the point guard and forward positions are still to come.

Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz

Position Player Status PG Jayson Granger (story) Signed until 2022 + 1 PG Arturs Kurucs Signed until 2023 SG Sander Raieste Signed until 2024 SG Wade Baldwin IV (story) Signed until 2022 SG Vanja Marinkovic (story) Signed until 2024 SG Miguel Gonzalez Signeduntil 2024 SG Alex Barrera(story) Signed a temporary contract SF Rokas Giedraitis (story) Signeduntil 2023 SF Tadas Sedekerskis (story) Signed until 2024 SF Simone Fontecchio (story) Signed until 2024 SF Pavel Savkov Signeduntil 2024 PF Alec Peters Contract option +1 PF Ondrej Hanzlik Signeduntil 2024 PF/C Matt Costello (story) Signed until 2024 C Landry Nnoko(story) Signed until 2022 Coach Dusko Ivanovic Expired contract Illimane Diop (released, story), Pierria Henry (not coming back), Achile Pollonara (not coming back), Quino Colom, Zoran Dragic, Franz Massenat, Youssoupha Fall (not coming back) Rumored to leave Interested

Baskonia have once again found themselves in a traditional spot - a summer of changes. They lost Henry and Polonara, who both relocated to Turkey. Vildoza did not finish the season (Knicks) and Giedraitis is willing to try NBA experience. However, the latest intel on Giedraitis indicates that the Lithuanian is staying in Vitoria for another year.

So, the hardcore of Baskonia needs to rebuild. Once again.

Alba Berlin's Simone Fontecchio will be bought out and signed to a three-year deal by Baskonia. The team also brought in Serbian swingman Vanja Marinkovic on a three-year deal.

Baskonia were also able to sign FC Bayern Munich's leader Wade Baldwin IV to a one-year deal.

Matt Costello is a done deal and became the first addition of the offseason for Baskonia. An interesting move to improve the frontcourt. The question now is: who is available or realistic on the market to improve the backcourt?

Let's see how Baskonia manages to surprise us once again.

Big-time changes in Kaunas. Previously, they had to rebuild after the end of Sarunas Jasikevicius's era the last season. Now Marius Grigonis and Thomas Walkup, two of the most important Zalgiris players on and off the court, both left green-and-whites.

And upcoming changes do not end here. With Nigel Hayes and Patricio Garino out, Zalgiris will be looking at four new starting five players. Their best sixth man Rokas Jokubaitis is also set to re-join forces with his former coach Sarunas Jasikevicius in FC Barcelona. It is going to be a long summer for coach Martin Schiller and president Paulius Motiejunas, but they already reached halfway.

Veteran floor general Mantas Kalnietis is back to replace Jokubaitis. Niels Giffey and Tyler Cavanaugh will form a solid supporting cast to Zalgiris core players. Meanwhile, the most athletic Zalgiris player in years, Josh Nebo, will bring some highlights and new weapons for the coaching staff.

Two main positions (1-2) remain unfilled and it might take a while. Expect some big moves from Zalgiris organization.

Olympiacos Piraeus

Position Player Status PG Kostas Sloukas Signed until 2023 PG Thomas Walkup Signed until 2024 PG Giannoulis Larentzakis Signeduntil 2023 SG Michalis Lountzis (story) Signed until 2024 SG Aaron Harrison Contract option +1 SG Antonis Koniaris Contract option +1 SG Tyler Dorsey (story) Signed until 2022 SF Kostas Papanikolaou Signeduntil 2023 SF Shaquille McKissic Signeduntil 2023 SF Vassilis Charalampopoulos Signeduntil 2023 PF Georgios Printezis (story) Signed until 2022 PF Aleksandar Vezenkov Signeduntil 2022 PF Livio Jean-Charles Signeduntil 2022 PF Vassilis Christidis Signeduntil 2025 C Moustapha Fall Signeduntil 2022 +1 C Hassan Martin Signeduntil 2022 Coach Georgios Bartzokas Expired contract Vassilis Spanoulis (retirement), Octavious Ellis, Kostas Koufos Rumored to leave Alexandros Nikolaidis (not coming back) Interested Matt Thomas

Olympiacos are pretty close to completing their roster. The Reds have already signed Thomas Walkup and Mustapha Fall, while they have a deal with David Lighty from ASVEL Villeurbanne.

The retirement of their legendary leader Vassilis Spanoulis, however, may bring about upheavals. Giorgos Bartzokas will look for another guard to boost the rotation, in addition to Michalis Lountzis (played last season with Promitheas Patras) and Tyson Carter (had an excellent season with Lavrio), who will have a complementary role. Lountzis will likely remain on the roster, while Carter will probably be given on loan depending on whether the team will play in the first division of the Greek League. Kostas Antetokounmpo, should he decide to return to Europe, could be a solution in the paint, presenting a long-term project that the club seems eager to develop.

To sum up, Olympiacos are looking for another player on the perimeter, since Printezis is expected to renew for another (maybe his final) year, while Livio Jean Charles and Hassan Martin are staying with the team.

The late season-ending, as well as late market signings and injuries, left "The Yellows" out of this year's EuroLeague Playoffs contention. This year is different. Few Maccabi summer targets got away with other teams, but Tel Aviv definitely will have something exciting to offer for the EuroLeague fans the next season. Former EuroLeague champ James Nunnally signed to a one-year deal, Jaylen Reynolds is back on a two-year contract and many other well-known names, such as Derrick Williams, are close to joining the squad. Maccabi have also signed guard Kameron Taylor to a two-year deal. The team has decided against re-signing point guard Chris Jones, who is now a free agent. Ioannis Sfairopoulos is starting a rebuild in Tel Aviv, with Othello Hunter and Elijah Bryant out, Tyler Dorsey, and Chris Jones likely to move too. ASVEL is guaranteed to be on most scouts' radars after having agreed to sign Victor Wembanyama. The deal with a 17-year-old prospect is not official yet but he is destined to continue his development under Tony Parker’s guidance. The team also brought in an experienced power forward Raymar Morgan, who dominated last season in the FIBA Champions League. Veteran David Lighty will also be back next year and will play in his seventh season with ASVEL.

Wembanyama is one of the most intriguing prospects in the world, being touted as a possible 1st pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Other than that, ASVEL is due for some big changes. The French team is set to say goodbye to Guerschon Yabusele, their second-leading scorer from the last season.

With much of the roster coming back for the next season, ALBA is one of the most complete teams in the Euroleague at the moment. It will, however, have to fill a void at the guard position. Tamir Blatt will try to fill that spot after the team brought him back after the loan to Hapoel Jerusalem.

With Peyton Siva, Maodo Lo, and Jayson Granger becoming free agents, ALBA is due for some changes. They also lost their captain in Niels Giffey.

The head coach of the last four seasons, Aito Garcia Reneses, stepped down and was replaced by his former assistant and associate head coach, Israel Gonzalez.

The Greens were running late on the coach issue, as the deal with Dimitris Priftis was only announced on June 26, while the Greek League was completed two weeks earlier. The decision to let Oded Kattash go had been made, pushing back the transfer plans. So far, PAO have suffered a significant loss, that of Dinos Mitoglou, who went to AX Armani Exchange Milan, in addition to the departure of Ben Bentil for Bahcesehir.

The acquisition of a Greek passport by Howard Sant-Roos is considered a major development, as it paves the way for six more non-Greek players on the roster. So far, only the Cuban forward and Giorgos Papagiannis are considered 100% certain ahead of the next season. TJ Bray is still under contract, but his signing was Kattash's choice. Dimitris Priftis will have to make important decisions as soon as possible.

Having won Adriatic and Serbian leagues, Crvena Zvezda finished this season on a high note but had to say goodbye to their star Jordan Loyd. Landry Nnoko is also not expected to continue in the Serbian capital.

The second-leading scorer from the last season, Corey Walden, is also drawing serious interest among the EuroLeague teams and could leave the team via a buyout.

Other than that, Zvezda’s fans are looking at a roster full of returnees from last season.

AS Monaco are set to make the EuroLeague debut after winning the EuroCup title last season. Despite winning the continent's second strongest division, the French club has a lot to do if they want to stay relevant among Europe's elite.

Only one player from last season, Rob Gray, has a guaranteed contract for the next season. According to BasketNews sources, Monaco was interested in signing Lithuanian forwards Edgaras Ulanovas and Mindaugas Kuzminskas. However, none of these players will be joining the French Riviera club. The team did re-sign Senegalese big man Ibrahima Fall-Faye for one more season. They have also extended the EuroCup Finals MVP Rob Gray for two more years.

Zvezdan Mitrovic, who coached ASVEL Villeurbanne in the EuroLeague a year ago, will continue as Monaco’s bench boss. With him on board, the French club will face its next challenge: fulfilling its roster with EuroLeague-worthy firepower.

After reaching the EuroCup final last season, UNICS Kazan is returning to the EuroLeague after a four-year absence. They will do so, however, without a man who helped them reach the big stage: coach Dimitris Priftis. Greek specialist left UNICS after four seasons at the helm and the Russian team is in the market for a new coach.

Velimir Perasovic was named the new head coach of UNICS Kazan. The 56-year-old took last year off from basketball. He last coached TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz in 2019-20.

The biggest loss of the offseason for UNICS so far is the EuroCup MVP Jamar Smith, who announced he was leaving the Russian club after a four-year tenure. The team will try to make up for his loss with point guard Isaiah Canaan. They also signed Will Thomas and a number of experienced Russian players.
