Lithuanian national team head coach Darius Maskoliunas announced the final roster participating in the 2020 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Forwards Tadas Sedekerskis and Regimantas Miniotas were the last two players cut from the team.

"It was difficult for Tadas Sedekerskis to fit into our defensive schemes. We just didn't see him in this position. He is not a player that can help us much on the offensive end," coach Maskoliunas said.

"Regimantas Miniotas was the last player called for the tryouts. He played well during friendly games, but we needed to choose between him and another player. We believe it will be better for us this way."

Lithuania will compete in Group A of the FIBA Olympic Qualifiers Tournament in Kaunas, Lithuania, where they will face off against Venezuela and Korea. Group B consists of Slovenia, Poland, and Angola.
