A total of 8 current NBA players will be at Nick Nurse's disposal, when Canada will start their quest for the only ticket that leads to the Tokyo Olympic Games. NY Knicks guard R.J. Barrett and Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins are the names that stand out.

After holding training camp in Tampa, the Canadian NT trimmed its roster to 14 players before travelling to Victoria, British Columbia to serve as the host of the six-team FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which begins on Tuesday, June 29.

Of the final 12-man roster, there are 10 players with NBA experience and eight active NBA players, while Zach Edey and Andrew Nembhard - who were the last to be left out-are currently competing in the collegiate ranks, with the Purdue Boilermakers and the Gonzaga Bulldogs respectively. Longtime Canadian National Team member Melvin Ejim had to withdraw from consideration to tend to a personal matter.

Canada will begin their Group A play schedule on Tuesday, June 29 when they take on Greece. China are also in the same group, while Turkey, the Czech Republic and Uruguay make up Group B.Canada NT final roster:
