Ismail Senol from beIN Sports reports that "Micic’s contract is for three years, but he has an NBA debut every summer. It would be more correct to say 1+1+1. Vasa has the option to leave after one season."

Micic, 27, helped Efes to the EuroLeague and Turkish Basketball Super League titles last season. The Serbian point guard was also crowned the EuroLeague regular season and the Final Four MVP.

Initially, the Chicago Bulls were considered favorites to sign Micic.

The 1.96 m Serb averaged 16.7 points, 4.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 17.5 EFF over 30 minutes in EuroLeague last season. He averaged 13.5 points, 4 assists, 1.8 rebounds, and 12.2 EFF over 22.6 minutes in the Turkish League.
