LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne has signed American forward Raymar Morgan to a one-year deal. The 32-year-old will have his EuroLeague debut with the French powerhouse.

ASVEL president Tony Parker expressed his delight after signing Morgan: "We are very happy with the signing of Raymar, he is an experienced player who will bring us a lot and will play a very important role within our team, especially with our young players."

The 2.04 m power forward played four years with the Michigan State Spartans before starting his professional career in Europe, where he has been playing ever since.

Morgan has played in Israel (Maccabi Rishon, Elizur Ashkelo), Germany (BG Gottingen, Ratiopharm Ulm), Turkey (Tofas Bursa), and Russia (UNICS Kazan).

The big man was a member of Pinar Karsiyaka last year, where he averaged 17.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 20.6 EFF over 26.6 minutes in the FIBA Champions League.

In the Turkish Basketball Super League, Morgan accumulated 15.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 19.2 EFF over 25.2 minutes.
