Las Vegas to host the 2023 WNBA All-Star Weekend on July 14-15

The 2023 WNBA All-Star Game will beplayed in Las Vegas at the Michelob Ultra Arena, home of thedefending champion Las Vegas Aces, on July 15, the league announcedtoday. In addition to the All-Star Game, there will be two fulldays packed with WNBA activities.

The WNBA will also host its “WNBALive” fan festival, which is now in its second year. An exciting,interactive event that's open to the public, “WNBA Live” willprovide fans with an opportunity to experience the intersection ofthe WNBA, entertainment and culture leading up to the WNBA All-StarGame.

“The WNBA is thrilled to bringAT&T WNBA All-Star 2023, to Las Vegas, a city that showed suchincredible support for the Aces and the WNBA throughout lastseason, especially during the WNBA Finals presented by YouTube TVwhen the Aces brought the city its first professional sportschampionship,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.

“This will be the third AT&T WNBAAll-Star Game to take place in Las Vegas, where we had memorableexperiences in 2019 and 2021. And I can’t think of a betterlocation for us to host our second annual “WNBA Live” interactivefan event that will give WNBA fans two days of incredibleopportunities to engage with our brand and partners who havestepped up to support the WNBA.”

On July 14, some of the league’sbiggest and brightest stars will display their talents at the 2023edition of the WNBA 3-PointContestand WNBA SkillsChallenge.

“We’re excited to once again host theleague’s signature showcase event in the sports and entertainmentcapital of the world,” said Aces president Nikki Fargas. “Las Vegashas showed up and showed out for the Aces and the WNBA since ourfirst season, and we are looking forward to welcoming fans fromaround the world back to Michelob ULTRA Arena for anotherincredible celebration of the best that women’s basketball has tooffer.”

Tickets for the 2023 All-Star Game,3-Point Contest and WNBA Skills Challenge will go on sale to thepublic on January 19 at 10 am PT. Tickets may be purchased byvisiting axs.com.

The 2023 WNBA regular season tips offon Friday, May 19 and features a record-high 40 games per team. All12 teams will be in action during the opening weekend of theleague’s 27th regular season as part of WNBA Tip-Off 2023.

The regular season will conclude onSept. 10, followed by the WNBA Playoffs.
