Andre Iguodala fined $25K for cursing at ref, tossing ball in stands

Golden State Warriors wing AndreIguodala has been fined $25,000 for throwing the game ball into thestands and directing inappropriate language toward game officials,NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operations JoeDumars announced today.

Iguodala tossed the ball into thestands with 4:30 remaining in the fourth quarter of Golden State’s125-113 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 10 at Chase Center. He wasassessed a technical foul and ejected. Here's video of Iguodalatossing the ball into the crowd:

Once Iguodala was ejected, he becamefrustrated and got into it with the official, which can be seenhere:

This season, the 38-year-old hasappeared in just two games, averaging 12.5 minutes per contest. Hehas averaged 1.0 point, 2.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds in his limitedaction.

Iguodala is mainly on the Warriors toserve as a veteran leader. The former All-Star is a four-time NBAchampion, and he won the NBA Finals MVP award in 2015.

This is Iguodala's 19th NBA season(and his eighth with the Warriors).
