AS Monaco signed an 18-year-old forward Armel Traore. This is the first professional contract for Traore.
Traore has been a member of multiple French youth National Teams. He helped his team win silver at the U-16 European Championship in 2019. Traore is currently representing France at the U-19 World Championship.
The 2.02 forward is averaging 5.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 6.5 EFF over 13.6 after four U-19 WC games.
Traore played in the third French League division last season. There, he averaged 15.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 15.2 EFF over 25.4 minutes.
