Scottie Wilbekin will continue to play with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv for another season, his 4th overall with the Israeli giants.

The 28-year-old American guard is one of the most important pieces in the puzzle that Giannis Sfairopoulos has created and the Greek coach will have him at his disposal during the 2021-22 campaign.Wilbekin averaged last year in EuroLeague 13.8 points and 4 assists. Wilbekin was Maccabi's top scorer and passer last year, with 470 points and 132 assists, while being a leading presence overall, having decided many of his team's games. On January 29, 2020, Wilbekin had signed a three-year contract extension with Maccabi.He made his European debut with AEK in 2015, won the EuroCup with David Blatt's Darussafaka in 2018, and since then, he has been offering his services to Maccabi.
