Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow have announced the signing of Russian big man Vladimir Ivlev. Both sides agreed on a one-year deal.

Ivlev has spent his entire career playing in Russia. His professional run started with Moscow Dynamo in 2009. The 2.07 m forward/center later represented Nizhny Novgorod for five seasons and Lokomotiv Kuban for four seasons. Ivlev is also a member of the Russian National Team.

"We are bringing to our team a big man who has plenty of experience playing in the VTB League. I talked to Vladimir and I see that he is motivated and thrilled, he understands his role, and he's ready to take the next step in his career," CSKA coach Dimitris Itoudis said. "He is aware of the responsibility, expectations, and amount of work he has to do here. We are looking forward to working together and welcome Vladimir to our team."

The 31-year-old was a member of Parma Basket last year. Ivlev averaged 4.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 7.6 EFF over 17.3 minutes in the VTB United League.
