Report: Cavaliers, Jazz, Hawks have considered three-way trade
The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to add another piece aheadof the NBA trade deadline and one place of need is another wingplayer. Marc Stein writes on hisSubstack that the Cavs have considered a three-way trade toacquire Malik Beasley from the Jazz with the Atlanta Hawks sendingJohn Collins to Utah.
Stein adds that the Jazz have been interested in Collins forsome time but "to this point, have given the Hawks pause by seekingadditional draft compensation for taking on Collins, who still hasthree seasons left on his five-year, $125 million contract afterthis one".
As for what the Cavs would include in any such deal, CarisLeVert and his $18.8m expiring contract would be the most likelycandidate.
Beasley is only shooting 39.9% from the field this season butthe bulk of his shots are from deep with him averaging8.6threes per game and connecting on 35.8% of them.
