UNICS part ways with Evgeny Kolesnikov / News - Basketnews.com

UNICS Kazan and the Russian veteran Evgeny Kolesnikov went their separate ways, according to the tweet on the club's account.

Last season Kolesnikov contributed 1.9 points, 0.8 rebounds, 0.4 assists in 18 EuroCup games, and helped his team reach the tournament final.

35-year-old (1.95) has been wearing a UNICS jersey since 2017. The shooting guard started his professional career in 2002 with CSKA Moscow junior team. In total, he has been a member of 11 different squads.

Kolesnikov also has been a member of the Russian national basketball team. He competed at the 2010 FIBA World Championship after previously making appearances with the youth national team.
