Milwaukee Bucks reserve guard Thanasis Antetokounmpo missed Saturday night's Game 5 of the NBA Finals after he entered the league's health and safety protocols related to COVID-19.

"I think the health and safety protocols are on the front of everybody's minds right now," Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said prior to the contest in Phoenix. "I think we're in a good place and ready to go."
Bucks assistant coach Josh Oppenheimer also is unavailable for Game 5 due to entering health and safety protocols. The series is tied at 2-2.
In addition, the NBA announced about an hour before tipoff that referee Sean Wright would miss the game after entering the health and safety protocols.
James Williams replaced Wright as one of the officials.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who turns 29 on Sunday, averaged 2.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 57 games (three starts) in the regular season.
In the postseason, he has played 45 minutes over 13 games with a scoring average of 0.7.
