After the final pre-Olympic game (a loss against Team USA), Sergio Scariolo announced the final list of 12 players who will represent Spain at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Spain are the current Basketball World Cup champions and they also won medals in the last three Olympic Games (silver 2008, 2012; bronze 2016).

Spain NT final roster:

Pau Gasol Rudy Fernandez Sergio Rodríguez Ricky Rubio Victor Claver Marc Gasol Willy Hernangomez Usman Garuba Alberto Abalde Alex Abrines Sergio Llull Juancho Hernangomez

It will be the 5th Olympic Games for 41-year-old Pau Gasol. The team will also include Juancho Hernangomez, despite his shoulder injury suffered in a friendly game against France.

the last players cut from the team were Pierre Oriola, Dario Brizuela and Xabi Lopez-Arostegui.
