Another EuroLeague team has set their sights on forward Nigel Hayes. Hayes is the main target for Panathinaikos OPAP Athens if Mario Hezonja does not re-sign with the team, SDNA's Giannis Kouvopoulos reports.

Hezonja was reportedly offered a two-year, €2 million contract by Panathinaikos. However, it may be difficult for the Greek team to retain him. For the Croatian forward to stay in Athens, Barcelona must receive a €400 thousand buy-out. Hezonja would have to pay a portion of the sum out of his own pocket.

Hayes averaged 9.5 points (44.3% from three), 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 9.8 EFF over 26.7 minutes with Zalgiris Kaunas in the EuroLeague last season.

It was previously reported that Hayes was also a target by UNICS Kazan. The 26-year-old is set to work out for the Boston Celtics this week.
