Boston will receive point guard Kris Dunn, big man Bruno Fernando and a 2023 second-round draft pick from the Hawks, while Atlanta will obtain point guard Delon Wright from the Kings.

The 30-year-old Thompson averaged 7.6 points and 8.1 rebounds in 54 games (43 starts) last season in his lone season with the Celtics. He spent his first nine seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers and has career averages of 9.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in 673 games (472 starts).

Dunn, 27, played in just four games for the Hawks last season due to an ankle injury. He has career averages of 8.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 231 games (126 starts) over five seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chicago Bulls and Hawks.

Fernando, 22, averaged 1.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 33 games off the bench last season in his second NBA campaign.

Wright, 29, split last season between the Detroit Pistons and Kings and averaged 10.2 points, 4.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 63 games (39 starts). He has career marks of 7.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 334 games (62 starts) over six seasons with five teams.
