According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Miami Heat have decided to pick up Goran Dragic's team option, worth $19.4 million, for the 2021-2022 season. The Slovenian point guard has been in Miami since 2015 but, despite this move, his future in Florida is still not guaranteed.The Heat are trying to free some cap space to make a big offer to free agent Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic might be on the trade block if the right scenario will present itself. Dragic averaged 13.4 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game last season.
