Wizards' Summer League game PPD due to COVID-19 / News - Basketnews.com
Sunday night's NBA Summer League contest between the Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers was postponed due to health and safety protocols.
"Because of ongoing contact tracing within the Wizards, the team does not have enough available players to proceed," the league said in a press release.
The game was scheduled for 8 p.m. ET at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas. No makeup date was announced.
The Wizards announced Saturday night that Cassius Winston, Issuf Sanon and Isaiah Todd had entered the COVID-19 protocol.
Winston, 23, was a second-round pick in 2020 and averaged 1.9 points and 4.5 minutes in 22 games off the bench for Washington as a 2020-21 rookie.
Todd, 19, and Sanon, 21, were also both second-round picks, selected 31st in 2021 and 44th in 2018, respectively.
