Ty Lawson, a former NBA point guard, has officially signed a contract with Greek team Kholossos Rhodes, the club announced in a press release. Lawson had originally agreed to a deal with the Greek club already at the beginning of the year but he couldn't join then due to some issues related to his departure from China.

This won't be the first European experience for the veteran point guard. Lawson briefly played for the Zalgiris Kaunas during the 2011-2012 season, when the NBA was on a lockout. He averaged 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in VTB League with the Lithuanian club during that time. Lawson arrived in Greece in May and started to work out there to be ready for the new season.

Last season, Lawson played in China with the Fujian Sturgeons, averaging 27.3 points, 8.7 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 43% from three-point.
