One day after Beverley's trade to Memphis became official, the Grizzlies traded him to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Beverley was one of three players traded by the Los Angeles Clippers to Memphis in the Eric Bledsoe deal. Now he takes his firebrand defense to play for Chris Finch at Minnesota.
While Minnesota gets toughness and character strength, Memphis continues to add young talent along the margins, including Culver, who's only 22, and a former No. 6 pick.
Last season Beverley played 39 games and averaged 7.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists per match.
Hernangomez, who was blocked from playing for Spain in the Tokyo Olympics by the Minnesota Timberwolves, played 52 games and registered 7.2 points and 3.9 rebounds.
Culver contributed 5.3 points and 3.1 rebounds on average per 34 contests.
