Tyler Dorsey could be on his way to Greece / News - Basketnews.com
Olympiacos Piraeus have shown interest in the American guard Tyler Dorsey, per report by Aris Barkas.
Dorsey (25, 1.96) has played for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv last two seasons. Last year in the EuroLeague, he averaged 11.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, mostly coming off the bench. He scored a career-high 30 points (in 27 minutes) in a win against Real Madrid on January 21, 2021.
Tyler Dorsey also has a Greek passport, which would make his relocation to one of the Greek basketball powerhouses much easier.
Dorsey was selected by the Atlanta Hawks, in the 2nd round (the 41st overall) of the 2017 NBA draft. He then signed a 2-year contract with the Hawks. He played 104 games (16 starts) in the NBA between Atlanta and Memphis and has career averages of 6.7 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 1.3 APG.
