Wallace (43, 2.11) enjoyed a 16-year NBA career with the Washington Wizards, Portland Trail Blazers, Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks. The four-time All-Star still holds the league record for most technical fouls in a season with 40.

Wallace retired in 2013 and took a job as an assistant coach with the Pistons under Maurice Cheeks for the 2013-14 season.

Anfernee Hardaway (50, 2.01), four-time NBA All-Star and three-time All-NBA selection, is entering his fourth season as the Tigers' coach. He guided the team to the NIT championship game last season after finishing the campaign with a 20-8 record and 11-4 mark in conference play.

Wallace will work alongside fellow Memphis assistant Larry Brown, who coached the Pistons team that won the NBA title in 2004.
