Unicaja Malaga have reached an agreement with Norris Cole to join the team for next season. The 32-year-old guard, who last played with French team ASVEL Villeurbanne, has a long NBA and European experience. Among the titles he has won throughout his career, his two NBA championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013 stand out.Cole won also the French LNB with ASVEL last year, while averaging 10.4 points, 2.1 assists and 8.8 in PIR in the domestic competition and 13.7 points, 3.6 assists, and 10.3 PIR per EuroLeague contest.

Cole spent 6 years in the NBA, almost half of them in the ranks of Miami Heat, a year and a half in the New Orleans Pelicans and another one with Oklahoma City Thunder. After his NBA stint, he made the leap to Europe, where he has played for Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel), Scandone Avellino (Italy), Buducnost (Montenegro), AS Monaco (France) and ASVEL Villeurbanne. His first taste of the Basketball Champions League was with Scandone Avellino during the 2018-19 season. The player is expected to arrive in Malaga next week.
