Vanoli Basket Cremona announced a one-year deal with Malcolm Miller, who last played with the Salt Lake Stars in the NBA G League.The 28-year-old small forward attended high school in Gaithersburg, in his home state, under head coach Kevin Parrish. He then spent four years at Holy Cross College in Worchester, Massachusetts. In his senior year in the Patriot League, he recorded 13.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game.After going undrafted in the 2015 draft, he played in the Summer League with Boston in both Orlando and Las Vegas. In the summer of 2016, he participated again with Boston, both in the Summer League of Orlando and that of Las Vegas, and then he signed with ALBA Berlin. In the Bundesliga, he averaged 7 points per game, with 3.4 rebounds, in 27 games played, shooting 63.9% from the field and with 36.1% from three. With the German team, he also competed in the EuroCup, where he recorded 6.3 points and 2.9 rebounds with 52.9% from downtown.

Released at the end of training camp, he played 14 games in the G-League with the affiliate Salt Lake City Stars, finishing with 8.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals, shooting with 40% from the field and 37.5% from three.Miller participated in the 2021 Summer League, at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, with the jersey of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
