Diallo averaged 12.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal per game last season with Lavrio. He quickly became one of the surprises of the league. Born in New York, Diallo is a Providence alum but went undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft.
"For me playing in EuroLeague it's a big step forward in my career," Diallo said to AS Monaco's official website. "I have a lot to learn from coach Mitrovic and from the other players that have already experienced in the competition. I'll bring my energy and enthusiasm to help the team to achieve its goals. Monaco is growing fast and has really high ambitions. I can't wait to play in front of the fans."
