It appears that Ben Simmons will not be headed to Sacramento via trade unless the Philadelphia 76ers drastically alter their demands, Sam Amick of The Athletic reports.

However, the Kings have categorically refused to give up De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton.
It is reported that the Kings are not willing to change their stance and that the team will gather to training camp at the end of September as currently constructed.
The 5th pick of the 2017 NBA Draft, De'Aaron Fox averaged 25.2 points (32% 3PT), 7.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals over 35.1 minutes. His new five-year, $163 million contract kicks in at the start of next season.
Haliburton played in his rookie season last year, after being drafted 12th overall in 2020. The 21-year-old averaged 13.0 points (41% 3PT), 5.3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals over 30.1 minutes.
The 1st pick of 2016, Ben Simmons, informed the 76ers front office that he does not intend to arrive at the upcoming pre-season training camp and does not want to continue playing for the team in Philadelphia.
There have been reports that Simmons prefers to be traded to a team located in California. The Golden State Warriors are currently considered favorites to land Simmons.
