The head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chris Finch, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that Anthony Edwards grew since getting drafted last year.

At the time he got picked by the Timberwolves, Edwards was 1.93 m. Now, he is around 1.98 m tall.
"This is a very Ant thing," Finch said. "He told me, 'Don't let me get to 6-6 (1.98 m) or I'll be Michael Jordan.'"
Jordan's height was also 6-6.
The Wolves hope that the growth spurt may contribute to better rebounding numbers for Edwards next season. They may even play him as a small-ball power forward in stretches.
Edwards averaged 19.3 points (33% 3PT), 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals over 32.1 minutes last season.
However, his rebound averages increased to 5.4 per game during the last 20 games of the season after the coaching staff put more emphasis on rebounding. Coach Finch told reporters that Edwards is a very goal-oriented player.
"He's an extremely unique player and has all this raw ability, but he's very literal when you coach him. Like I say to him, 'I need you to go out and do X,' he'll do it. We discovered in the last part of the season [when I'd tell him], 'I need you to get seven rebounds tonight.' We gave him goals almost every game or every period of time, so you give him stuff to focus on, and he went out and did that."
