Alex Antetokounmpo, the youngest brother of reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, has been working out with the Milwaukee Bucks for the past several days.

On Thursday, the Bucks’ official Instagram page posted a series of pictures of their players shooting around in the gym. Included in the post was Alex Antetokounmpo wearing the Sacramento Kings' gear. That prompted speculation that the Bucks could be on the verge of signing him.The 20-year-old Alex, a 2.03 m. forward, played in Spain with UCAM Murcia last season. He was not selected in this year’s NBA Draft but proceeded to join the Sacramento Kings for Summer League.

Given the fact that Giannis’s older brother, Thanassis, is already with the team, the addition of Alex would make a trio of Antetokounmpos in Milwaukee. In addition, their other brother, Kostas, is currently playing for LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in France. Meanwhile, eldest Antetokounmpo brother Francis is the only one who is not a professional basketball player. He has played soccer professionally though.

Until now, there has been no official word on Alex’s current status with the Bucks. NBA teams can carry up to 20 players on their roster through training camp as well as the pre-season. The Bucks still have one two-way contract spot open.
