FIBA revealed 29 coaches and 96 who were nominated for the FIBA Hall of Fame Class of 2022. Many legendary coaches and players are among them, including the current head coach of Partizan NIS Belgrade, Zeljko Obradovic, and EuroLeague champion David Blatt.
"It is a tremendous honor for me to be included on this list, along with other names that are so wonderful," Blatt told Walla after being included among the nominees.
The list also includes a number of legendary retired basketball players, among which are names like Dejan Bodiroga, Manute Bol, Predrag Danilovic, Aleksandar Djordjevic, Magic Johnson, Arturas Karnisovas, Rimas Kurtinaitis, Arvydas Macijauskas.
In recent years, FIBA has been inducting 12 people into their Hall of Fame each year.
