The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champions Anadolu Efes Istanbul crushed Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar97-67 (27-14, 27-14, 25-21, 18-18) to get the second victory in Gloria Cup.

Efes put the foot on the gas right from the start, taking a double-digit lead in the first quarter thanks to 9 points by Moerman and 6 points by Dunston. Ataman's men set a quick-pace game that Lokomotiv could not follow. After the first quarter, Efes were winning by 13 (27-14).

In the second, the Turkish continued pouring points with Petrusev leading the way. Motley's individual effort faded away (13 points in two quarters), as Efes were dominating every centimeter of the court. After 20 minutes, Istanbul's team led the way by 26 points (54-28).

In the third period, Lokomotiv managed to stabilize the game but Efes finished the quarter stronger. Motley continued his solo performance, as he had 9 points in the third. The teams advanced to the fourth quarter, while the scoreboard was showing 79-49.

The last period was a mere formality, as Efes cruised to a convincing victory.

Shane Larkin did not participate in the match.
