The club also specified that Aaron White did not injure or break his wrist or fist during the fall. He will leave the hospital in Munich no later than Monday after the surgery.

The injury was suffered during the third quarter of a friendly game against Panathinaikos OPAP Athens. Aaron White dunked on a fast break but hung on the rim too long and his momentum carried him to fall awkwardly. The player was bloodied instantly and it appeared that he jammed his wrist. After a long pause, medical personnel came out with stretchers, but White was able to leave the floor on his own power. He did not return to the game.
Crvena Zvezda's power forward was immediately assisted by the FC Bayern doctors and club's director Marko Pesic. Famous Serbian coach Svetislav Pesic also helped with White's admission to the hospital in Munich.
