ALBA jumped out to a quick 12-2 lead to start the game and dominated until the second half of the second period. They held a 45-24 advantage but allowed the Parisians to make a run and cut their deficit to just six points going into halftime (55-49).

The French LNB Pro A newcomers continued playing well in the third, gaining their first lead of the game (55-58). From that point, the game went back and forth, and the lead changed hands a whopping 14 times.

At the end of the final period, Tim Schneider had a chance to win the game for ALBA, but it was off the mark, and the match went into overtime (92-92).

Paris started the extra period with a 3-pointer and, from then, never gave their lead up, handing the German champions their first loss of the pre-season.

In addition to the injured Ben Lammers, Christ Koumadje, and Kreso Nikic, Maodo Lo was given a break and also missed the game. Unfortunately, Johannes Thiemann, the fourth inside player, got injured in overtime too.

ALBA: Marcus Ericksson 24 (6 REB, 5 AST), Tim Schneider 15, Luka Sikma 11 (6 REB), Johannes Thiemann 10 (9 REB), Yovel Zoosman 9, Jaleen Smith 9 (4/15 FG), Malte Delow 9, Tamir Blatt 6 (6 AST), Jonas Mattisseck 6, Louis Olinde 5.
