2023 NBA All-Star starters named for Salt Lake City
Before Thursday night's action, the NBA officially named the 10players who will be starting in the 2023 All-Star Game on Feb. 19in Salt Lake City.
Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Luka Doncic (DallasMavericks), LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Zion Williamson (NewOrleans Pelicans) and Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) will representthe Western Conference starters.
Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets), Donovan Mitchell (ClevelandCavaliers), Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), Kevin Durant (BrooklynNets) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) will representthe Eastern Conference starters.
Team LeBron and Team Giannis will select from that list to puttheir respective teams together on All-Star Sunday right before thegame takes place in Utah.
Fans accounted for 50% of the vote to determine the starters,while current NBA players and a media panel accounted for 25%each.
The 2023 NBA All-Star reserves will be announced on Feb. 2 at 7p.m. ET. Seven reserves will be named in each conference: twoguards, three frontcourt players and two additional players at anyposition.
