ALBA Berlin (1-1) played their second match at the Frutti Extra Cup, beating Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi (0-2) 101-92 (38-21, 17-27, 20-20, 26-24).

ALBA had a really strong first quarter, scoring whopping 38 points in the first 10 minutes and gaining a 17-point lead (38-21).

The second period was not as successful for the German champions. Merkezefendi showed character and beat them by 10, cutting their deficit to single-digits going into the half (55-48).

Both teams played evenly in the third period, with ALBA going into the final period with the same seven-point advantage. The Germans were able to sustain their lead in the fourth and come out with a nine-point victory.

Ben Lammers, Christ Koumadje, Kreso Nikic, and Johannes Thiemann did not play for ALBA due to injuries.
