Treviso, Cluj Napoca, Kalev/Cramo and Prometey are heading to Champions League / News - Basketnews.com

Participants of the Basketball Champions League regular season are set, as the final four teams emerged from the qualifying rounds. Nutribullet Treviso (Italy), U-BT Cluj Napoca (Romania), BC Kalev/Cramo (Estonia), and BC Prometey (Ukraine) will play in the BCL 2021-22 regular season, winning their groups in Treviso, Peristeri, Tallinn, and Sofia.

Treviso defeated Tsmoki-Minsk 95-78. Tomas Dimsa led the way, scoring 26 points and knocking down six 3-pointers. Nicola Akele made five threes and had 17 points, Henry Sims added 16 points and 9 rebounds. Angelo Warner carried the Tsmoki-Minsk with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists in a losing effort.

Nutribullet Treviso will play in Group D. The Italians will face AEK Athens, Falco Szombathely, and VEF Riga.

U-BT Cluj Napoca beat Fribourg Olympic 77-64. The Romanian champions were pushed by Karel Guzman, who had 17 points, and Patrick Richard adding 16. Elijah Stewart scored 13, while Andrija Stipanovic had a near triple-double with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. For the defeated squad, Arnaud Cotture was the only player in double digits with 14 points.

U-BT Cluj Napoca will join Group G, alongside Darussafaka Tekfen, Happy Casa Brindisi, and Hapoel U-net Holon.

BC Kalev/Cramo got a tough victory over Uniclub Casino-Juventus Utena 86-81. For the winners, JeQuan Lewis put on a show, scoring 24 points and dishing out 6 assists. Silas Melson registered 21 points, Kamari Murphy added 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Kristjan Kitsing had 10. Patrick Miller's 25 points did not give a tangible result for Uniclub Casino-Juventus.

BC Kalev/Cramo will compete in Group F and will meet Filou Oostende, SIG Strasbourg, and Tofas Bursa.

D.J. Stephens and D'Angelo Harrison guided BC Prometey to a close win over Parma-Parimatch 67-65. Both players scored 20 points each. For Parma, Evgeny Voronov provided 15 points, Adas Juskevicius and Jeremiah Hill added 10 each.

BC Prometey will rival in Group A against Lenovo Tenerife, Dinamo Sassari, and Mhp Riesen.
