AX Armani Exchange Milan remained in the hunt for their first title of the new season.
The Italian vice-champions 72-67 (21-15, 20-12, 10-29, 21-11) beat Brindisi Happy Casa in the Italian Supercup semi-final battle.
With 2:20 left, Nick Perkins made a jumper and cut Brindisi’s deficit to only 1 point - 67-68. However, Kyle Hines answered with a dunk, Devon Hall knocked down both free throws, and Armani Exchange finished the game with a 10-3 run.
Hines, who had a game-high 23 EFF, finished the game with 11 points (5-5 2PT, 1/2 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Milan started the game strongly and at the end of the first half, they were already up by 14 points behind the performances of Mitoglou and Shavon Shields. In the third quarter, though, Brindisi found more rhythm offensively and were able to put together a 19-0 run which completely changed the game and forced Milan to enter the final quarter with a 5-points deficit.

In the final game, Armani Exchange will face Virtus Segafredo Bologna.
