The 34-year-old has been playing in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague since 2010. In the past, he represented Partizan NIS Belgrade, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, Unicaja Malaga, Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade.
Gist spent his best career years with Panathinaikos and played for the Greek powerhouse for seven seasons. The 2015-16 campaign was his best season statistically. The 2.04 m forward averaged 10.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 11.4 PIR over 26.5 minutes that year.
Gist's EuroLeague career averages are 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds.
