Timberwolves part ways with the president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas / News - Basketnews.com
The Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor announced the dismissal of team's top basketball executive Gersson Rosas.
Glen Taylor released this statement: "Today the Minnesota Timberwolves parted ways with President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas. As an organization, we remain committed to building a winning team that our fans and city can be proud of."
Rosas was hired by the Wolves on May 1st, 2019. He was previously the executive vice president of basketball operations for the Houston Rockets, where he worked for 16 seasons and served under Daryl Morey.
Rosas was briefly GM of the Dallas Mavericks (2013). He left the post after only 3 months due to disagreements with management and returned to Houston.
Gersson Rosas has also worked for the USA Basketball as an international scout since 2015.
