CSKA Moscow (1-0) finished their first VTB United League game of the season with a convincing victory over Tsmoki Minsk (0-1) 92-44 (33-11, 13-6, 28-10, 18-17).
The Russian champions crushed their opponents' hopes in the opening frame by scoring three times as many points as the team from Belarus (33-11).
Both teams struggled to put the ball in the basket in the second quarter, but CSKA were more successful anyway, scoring 13 compared to just 6 by Tsmoki. The Red Army had a comfortable 46-17 advantage after two.
CSKA continued dominating and increasing their lead in the second half. Their advantage exceeded 50 at one point, as seven of CSKA's players scored in double-digits.
