ALBA ink German prospect to a long-term deal / News - Basketnews.com

One day before the start of their Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, ALBA Berlin announced the signing of the German forward Oscar da Silva. He will represent ALBA for the next three years.

The 2.06 m forward played for Stanford University from 2017 to 2021. He averaged 18.8 points (31.1% 3PT), 6.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in his senior year in college.

de Silva joined finished last season with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. He appeared in 17 regular season and playoff games, averaging 6.6 points and 3.2 rebounds.

The 23-year-old represented multiple German Junior National Teams in the past. He helped Germany to fifth place at the 2017 FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Cairo, averaging 10.3 points and four rebounds per game.
