FC Bayern Munich will face FC Barcelona in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 2 after a convincing German Cup victory.

Via the official pre-game press release, Trinchieri plans to go on the court with the same roster as he did against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv last week.

Bayern were forced to play without six of their players versus Maccabi: Nihad Djedovic, Vladimir Lucic, Andreas Obst, Leon Radosevic, Gavin Schilling, and Paul Zipser.

"It will be a great feeling to have another EuroLeague game in front of our own fans," said Bayern bench boss Andrea Trinchieri.

"It's a big game in general: against a great team with a great coach. They destroyed the German champions in the first game. Although we will face many difficulties in this game, I think we will do a great job," added the Italian basketball specialist.

Bayern's center Augustine Rubit also praised the EuroLeague runner-ups: "They are one of the absolute top teams, which was in the final last year. Barca have a great offense and a solid defense, we have to be absolutely ready and deliver a perfect game."

Bayern Munich know how to reach success, competing with Barcelona. Last season Bayern not only won at home (90-77), but they also defeated Barca in Palau Blaugrana for the first time (82-72).

Bayern will confront Barca on October 7 in Munich.
