Coach Sarunas Jasikevicius underlined that for the beginning of the season, his team's performance satisfies him.

"We are very happy. I told my team that it is a big win. A lot of teams will come to Munich and lose, that's for sure. They are a great home team. They always play physical and right way of basketball."

Starting from the last two minutes of the first half, Barcelona's defense gave Bayern a tough time, and coach Jasikevicius shared his thoughts on this.

"I think defensively we were very solid until the last couple of minutes. When we didn't turn over the ball, we were also really good in the offense. For this part of the season, this was pretty good basketball. But obviously, we need to continue improving."

Coach agreed that the key to the win was the double team of Bayern in the low post.

"Bayern forced us to a lot of turnovers last year. It helped us that this season, Mirotic and Davies were playing.

In general, our turnovers were feeding the post. From the double team, we were not bad. In general, we were very good out of the double teams, and that was one of the keys."

Despite a solid win, Barcelona made 17 turnovers, and the coach concluded his statement by praising Bayern.

"It would be nicer if we didn't lose the ball 17 times. But Bayern are one of the most serious teams in EuroLeague. Last year they finished the regular season fifth. This tells you their level."
