Official: Yogi Ferrell is a new member of Panathinaikos / News - Basketnews.com

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens officially announced the new addition to their roster, former NBAer Yogi Ferrell. Both sides agreed on a one-year deal.

It will be Ferrell's first European experience.

Hehas been waived by theLos Angeles Clippers, where he spent the last part of the previous season.

In 8 regular-season games with the Clippers, Ferrell averaged 4.6 points, 2.3 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Before coming to LA, the 28-year-old represented theBrooklyn Nets(2016), theDallas Mavericks(2017-18), theSacramento Kings(2018-20), and theCleveland Cavaliers(2021).

His best NBA season was with the Dallas club. Yogi Ferrell played there all 82 games (21 starts) and averaged 10.2 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists over 28 minutes.

The 1.83-meter point guard has NBA career averages of 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 259 contests.
