Earlier today it was announced that the Serbian NT training camp was canceled because the newly appointed head coach Svetislav Pesic requires hospital treatment.

According to some reports, the basketball specialist could have gone down with a Covid infection.

However, Pesic's son, Marko Pesic, clarified the situation by posting a story on Instagram, denying any potential Covid-related rumors.

"Just a short notice regarding my father's health situation... After a inflammation of a throat area the doctors decided that he would need a stationary treatment with antibiotics. His situation is stable as he is being monitored for the next couple of days. All the Covid rumors about a Covid infection are false and misleading!"
