Team:Indiana PacersPosition:SGAge:28Height:196 cmWeight:98 kgBirth place:Atlanta, United States of AmericaProfileNewsStatisticsBrogdon, who emerged as the team's leading scorer last season, added two years and $45 million to his current contract and is now guaranteed a reported $89.3 million over the next four seasons, according to ESPN.
Brogdon will be starting his sixth NBA season after being drafted in the second round out of Virginia by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2016. Earning Rookie of the Year honors in the 2016-17 season, he averaged 12.8 points a game in three seasons with the Bucks before he was traded to the Pacers.
Since then, Brogdon has started all 110 games he has played with Indiana, and last season averaged 21.2 points with 5.3 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
With Rick Carlisle returning to coach the Pacers, the extension establishes Brogdon as a centerpiece of the roster, along with forward Domantas Sabonis.
The new four-year agreement means Brogdon is ineligible to be involved in a trade this season, which likely eliminates the Pacers from the list of potential suitors for disgruntled Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons.
